Helpful Information & Google Maps

For starters, there are tons of bars and restaurants that do happy hours in Ocean City. For this purpose, I've created a handy little google maps of all of the ones I'd consider worthwhile that you can find below. You'll find the restaurants in red and traditional bars in purple. You can expect drinks and apps at restaurants, however the bars usually don't include any food in their happy hours. We planned an all day affair so we wanted to grab food along the way!

We also planned our crawl on a Thursday - make sure to note the days certain happy hours are available!

Full Day Happy Hour Itinerary!

1: Tequila Mockingbird @ 2:45 PM

(HH: 3pm-6pm, Sunday through Friday)

We began our adventure in North OC and worked our way down the strip. Tequila Mockingbird is a mexican style restaurant with amazing queso and great margaritas. When we visited their happy hour included $6 margaritas and $4 corona + wells.

2: Bourbon Street on the Beach @ 3:30 PM

(HH: 3pm-6pm, daily)

Another local favorite, Bourbon St. is a New Orleans themed bar that is usually not overly crowded. It's also conviently a short walk from Tequila Mockingbird! While they have a lot on their happy hour menu (including food), we opted for their $6 happy hour priced crushes! Orange or creamsicle is the way to go here.

Note: we forgot to incorporate drive time into our schedule & were rushing from place to place. You'll have to drive from Bourbon St. to Fager's so make sure you have a ride & drink responsibly.

3: Fager's Island @ 4:00 PM

(HH: 3pm-5pm, Sunday through Friday)

Our third stop of the day is a MUST stop. I love the ambience at Fager's as it's right on the bay and set up for the most perfect views of sunset. They also have the best orange crush in all of Ocean City. Obviously, when you stop here, you must try their freshed squeezed (right in front of you) orange crushes! This happy hour is usually $5 for anything.

Sunset over waterfront with a vibrant red sky. A wooden deck with diners, palm trees, and lit lamps lines the water. Buildings in the distance.
Sunset from the dock at Fager's Island

4: Macky's @ 4:30 PM

(HH: 3pm-6pm, daily)

Next up, we walked over the pedistrian bridge from Fager's Island to Macky's! Macky's is a beach bar on the bay with views & tuesday theme nights. Their happy hour is $7 crushes and $6 rail/wine.

Note: You're going to want to catch an Uber or have a ride from Macky's to Coconut's. The walk isn't too far (~20 minutes), but you likely won't have enough time. If you're going to skip any of these stops, I'd skip Macky's and either spend more time at Fager's or head straight to Coconut's.

5: Coconut's Beach Bar & Grill @ 5:00 PM *sharp!*

(HH: 5pm-6pm, daily)

Coconut's is one of the most famous beach happy hour bars in Ocean City. It's prime location on the beach along with it's 2 for 1 drink special lasting just one hour attracts tons of tourists and locals alike. I'd recommend arriving as close to 5pm as possible to get your order in (and potentially another). Coconut's also has a direct walk through to the beach, so you can grab a drink and go down to the beach!

6: Bad Monkey @ 6:00 PM

(HH: 3pm-5pm, Sunday through Thursday / 3pm-4pm Friday & Saturday)

Bad Monkey is easily one of the best restaurants around. With the most insane gourmet burgers and iconic crushes, this is one of my favorite spots in town. However, they did recently change their 2 for 1 happy hour times - now ending at 4pm or 5pm depending on the day. I'd still suggest stopping to fuel up on a burger and one of their crushes (creamsicle is the best here).

7: Seacret's @ 6:30 PM

(HH: 4pm-7pm, Monday through Thursday)

The iconic Seacrets does happy hour on weekdays ONLY. This is a great place to end the happy hour crawl as they're one of the only spots that does happy hour until 7pm. Grab an $8 frozen, $7 crush or $4.50 natural and settle in to watch the sunset over the bay from a waterfront table. If you have the energy, stay out and party at the famous Seacrets night club where they drop balloons at midnight and often have live bands play.
