Currency: Varies by country/island. US dollar is well known and often accepted.

Credit Cards/ATMs: Credit cards are common but cash is more prevalent. Mastercard and VISA are usually accepted everywhere. ATMs might be accessible.

When to Visit: The Caribbean region is known for its tropical climate and temperatures. Visiting during the winter months of December through February usually means plenty

of sun, agreeable temperatures (70s and 80s), and low rain chances. Aside from this,

you may want to avoid hurricane season (peaking in August and September).
